SUNDAY SERVICE TIMES |9:30am Traditional & 11:00am Contemporary

ADULTS

Our weekend services are where we come together as a body of believers and worship Jesus. A service is typically an hour long experience designed around two main elements: music, message and prayer.  We gather to worship through song and then open the Bible to learn about what Jesus has done and wants for our lives. The Traditional service, held in the Sanctuary, is filled with beautiful organ and piano worship and often led by the Choir. The Contemporary service is held in the Family Life Center and is lead by our worship team. Pastor David typically preaches in series out of specific sections of Bible arranged over weeks at a time.

CHILDREN

We LOVE kids and students at First United Methodist and offer age-appropriate environments where your kids will learn about Jesus and the Bible on their level. We ask that you check your kids into our kids’ areas so that your children can enjoy a service tailored specifically for their age group. Our sign-in station is location right outside of our church office. Your child will be given a identification label which will match your parent/guardian pick-up label. After service, as long as the weather permits, you will pick up your child at the playground. You simply show your tag for your child to be released back to your care. If for some reason you were to lose your matching tag, please find a Staff Member and present your identification.

Nursery care is provided in both services. Pre-school and Elementary Sunday School take place at 11:00 in their respective rooms.

STUDENTS

Middle and High School Students are welcome to attend our services with you on the weekend.

FIRST TIME GUEST

We know that coming to a new church for the first time can be intimidating.  When you come for your visit, please stop by ‘First Time Guests’ in the lobby so we can get you and your family where you need to be. Our team of dedicated volunteers will do everything they can to make sure you have the best experience possible.
